TERRUNYO

Tended by the winemaker's attentive hand, each varietal grows and ripens within its own particular Terruño (the Spanish word for the French concept of terroir), an exceptional piece of land in the heart of the very best vineyards of Concha y Toro. Each Terrunyo varietal originates from a unique, specific vineyard in which the microclimate, the chosen grape stock, a select piece of soil and the expert hand of man interact magically in a metaphysical conjunction, which creates perfect harmony and delivers unrivaled quality.

SAUVIGNON BLANC
Region: Block 30, El Triángulo Vineyard, Casablanca Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Production Technique: Harvested by hand in March. Aged in stainless steel over light lees for six months and another 2 months in the bottle.

Taste: Fresh flavors with firm acidity, savvy, flinty, honeysuckle. Long persistence.
Alcohol Content: 13%
Total Acidity: 6.92 g/l

Grapes were selected from Lot 30 in our El Triangulo vineyard, in the Casablanca Valley, where the ocean influence allows for slow ripening. This, in turn, helped 100% of the flavors of this aromatic variety to build up on the grape skin. The gravelly soil with a permeable layer is very favorable. The south-facing hillside location is perfect for this variety. Exhibits the unique, powerful, assertive character and distinctive style of cold-climate, New World Sauvignon.

Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect accompaniment to fresh seafood, shellfish, and sushi. Click here for a suggested food match and recipe.
