MARQUES DE CASA CONCHA


Another Concha y Toro classic, this wine was named after the title bestowed upon the founder of the vineyard by the Spanish monarchy. Due to its exceptional quality, its distinct personality and its extraordinary ability to display all the virtues of each Chilean valley, Marqués de Casa Concha has earned its rank among the nobility of the world's finest wines. CHARDONNAY
Region: Santa Isabel Vineyard, Maipo Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Production Technique: The grapes are manually harvested in March. The wine is fermented in new and used, medium-toasted French Burgundian barriques sur lie for 11 months, then aged for a further 4 months after bottling.
Description: Color: Light, golden yellow.
Bouquet: White peach, papaya, mango and hazelnut, with surprising elegance.
Taste: Medium-bodied. Creamy on the palate, A core of peach-papaya accented flavors supported by refined oak. A long finish.
Alcohol Content: 14.0%
Total Acidity: 7.16g/l
Bright yellow with tinges of straw. Intense papaya and hazelnut aroma. It is a big wine, creamy with crisp acidity, and a long and memorable finish.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Region: Puente Alto Vineyard, Maipo Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Production Technique: The grapes are manually harvested during April. The wine is aged for 18 months in new (35%) and used (65%) French oak barriques, then aged a further 2 months after bottling.
Description: Color: Bright, deep red.
Bouquet: Cherry, chocolate, black tar and smoke.
Taste: A smooth, almost silky texture with a long finish. Concentrated and full bodied.
Alcohol Content: 14.0%
Total Acidity: 3.61 g/l .
The grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon come from the Puente Alto Vineyard in the Maipo Valley, Chile's most celebrated wine region.

Dark ruby-red. Fine red cherries with hints of toasty French oak. Smooth, round, well balanced and tasteful with a long finish.

MERLOT
Region: Peumo Vineyard, Rapel Valley, Chile
Grape Variety: Merlot
Production Technique: The grapes are manually harvested during April. The wine is aged for 15 months in new and used French oak barriques, then aged a further 2 months after bottling.
Description: Color: Dark and deep red.
Bouquet: Flavors as black as night: dark cherries, dark berries and a lasting smoky, yet rich, black tar.
Taste: Complexity develops out of its firm, quiet, supple core.
Alcohol Content: 14.1%
Total Acidity: 5.48 g/l

This fine Merlot has an intense varietal bouquet and richness of flavor. Deep red. Dark berries with hints of tar. On the palate, the wine is velvety and firm with ripe tannins imparting smoothness and balance.
